There are several different designs that you can use in the bedroom. You want to create a relaxing room that you can sleep in and feel good about when you wake up. Feng Shui is a great way to create a new look in your room without costing you a fortune. Here is how you can create the look and feel of a relaxing room.

You want to start by making a lot of changes to your room. This is not going to be easy but these changes need to happen in order to change the total ambiance of the room. You can create a spring look, a calming look, a sophisticated look, and more. If you are unsure of what you want to change then invite a friend or two over and get their opinion.

If your bed frame is metal or you don’t have a bed frame at all, then add a wooden bedframe to your bedroom. You want to keep the room as natural as possible and as clean as possible.

Keep the lighting just right. Having too much light is as bad as not having enough light in the room. Find some candles that can be set beside of your bed and are able to burn for a few hours safely. Make sure that the area is free from anything flammable.

If you have an alarm clock that makes noises or if you have something else that is noisy in the room, you want to get rid of it. Again, you want a natural feel and look in your room and in order to get that, you need to make sure that the room is free from distractions.

Add live plants to your room. This is a good rule of thumb in any room but the bedroom is a must. If you want to have a Feng Shui look and feel you need to have some live plants. Don’t add large plants in the room as this can be a distraction.

Area rugs are a great way to bring balance in the room. You have so many different colors to choose from but white or beige rugs are the most preferred colors in this look. Solid color area rugs can be placed on both sides of the bed so that there is an instant attraction to your eyes the first thing in the morning.

Mirrors are nice to have in the bedroom but they can make it hard to get up in the morning. If you are finding it difficult to sleep at night then you want to avoid using large mirrors. Most dressers come with these mirrors on it but you can remove it and place it in another room instead.

It’s all about creating a natural look and feel to the room without sacrificing style and design. You can create a different style in every bedroom but your bedroom needs to be different from the other bedrooms in the house.
